Blog post 5

Me and my group split up the work evenly to make it easier to research. It was easy to make the decisions because all the work was divided up evenly, and nobody had too much to do. I do feel that I contributed becuase I did as much as everyone else.

Blog post 4

Cyber Monday and Black Friday are two days where the shopping both online and in stores are crazy. On black Friday people get up extremely early in the morning to go to stores, where people are sometimes injured.  Cyber Monday is also crazy since they can stay at home to do the shopping, so this is equally as packed as the stores. This gets so crazy that sometimes on Thanksgiving they abandon their family to go shop online or at the stores.

Sports Drink Promotion UNC

1a. One way I provide a promotional mix for my sports drink is, Posters and little cards will be passed out at all UNC lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and football games.

1b. Another way I will provide a promotional mix for my sports drink is, Billboards will be put up around UNC, like on top of Starbucks, convenience stores and restaurants.

1c. The last way I will provide a promotional mix for Chappade will be adds in Newspapers. The local newspaper will show adds as well as UNC magazines and websites.

2. You could use various types of print media to advertise your drink with Newspaper ads, magazines, or direct mail. In a small community of Chapel Hill, many people read the newspaper and will surely see the ad for my sports drink.

3. I priced my drink very low for a specific reason. Everywhere you go, you'll see an "Arnold Palmer", or a "Golden Bear", iced tea or lemonade. These drinks are bought so often by society because not only do they taste great, but they are very cheap. I priced my drink at a low price so that more people will buy my drink.

Sports drink UNC post

My college is University of North Carolina, my drink is named Chappade, "Handle it".

3. I liked that we made a physical sports drink instead of just designing one. I also liked how we got to pick our own college, and research and learn more about that college.

2. I learned that UNCs mascot is Ramses and that UNC is located on Chapel Hill.

1. I didn't like how we had to research more than one college, before picking our own.

Consumer loyalty: The loyalty of consumers in sports has much more than entertainment. People would buy T-shirts or other things like cups that have a sports team’s logo on it, entertainment doesn’t do that.
Product: Products in sports include food sportswear, and posters, the products in entertainment don’t have as much to offer than sports does.
Revenue Stream: Sports teams have a much bigger gross income than entertainment marketing.

Entertainment

Consumer loyalty: The Loyalty of consumers in Entertainment has much less than sports marketing. Entertainment doesn’t have T-shirts or posters.

Revenue stream: Entertainment marketing doesn’t have as big as a gross income as sport does.

Advertisements for 1st Talking Movie

The First Talking movie, in 1927 was "The Jazz Singer". It starred Movie stars Al Jolson, and May McAvoy, and was advertised using posters and also billboards. People walking on the street would walk by and see it or if they were driving would see the billboard. Much different than nowadays, where there are commercials, and trailers on the TV and Computer.
